1. How much it cost to rent a bike?
Individual bikes or those with baby seat cost $300 DOP per hour. Tandem bikes cost $500DOP. For more details about our equipments check the link Bikes and Prices.
2. What do I need to rent a bike?
If you want to rent a bike you need to be at least 18 years old, bring an official identification ( Passport, ID, Drivers license). If you are under 18 you must come with an adult as tutor.
3. What does the rental include?
Rental includes a helmet, bike lock, map and bottled water. The helmets are mandatory for those under 16 years old.
4. For how long can I rent a bike?
The minimum rental period is 1 hour. You can also rent the bikes for half a day, full day or longer periods. In case you stay with the bike overnight you need to make sure that it stays inside and that it is well loked.
5. Do you take credit card?
Yes we accept all types of credit card.
6. Do you have bikes for kids?
We have baby seats and carriages for kid from 1 to 4 years old. Trailes, 16 and 20 inch rim bikes for kids from 5 to 12. Check Bikes and prices.
7. If my bike fails what should I do?
In the case of a bike failure you should call us right away. Our phone numbers are in each bike’s number plate. If you don’t have a local phone most of the local businesses won’t have any problems on calling for you. If you are going outside the Colonial Zone make sure to take one of our emergency repair kits.
GUIDED TOURS
1. Do I need to make a reservation for a guided tour?
Yes guided tours must be previously scheduled by calling 809 793 9939.
2. In what languages are the guided tours?
Guided tours can be held in spanish, english, french and italian.
3. Do you have guided tours outside the Colonial Zone?
Yes we do personalized tours upon customers request to different areas of the citie and the country.
4. How long are the guided tours?
Our typical guided tour in the Colonial Zone last 1 hour and 30 minutes. Tours outside the Colonial Zone can last from 1 hour 30 minutes to 3 hours.

1. Is it safe to ride a bike in Santo Domingo?
We are located in the Colonial Zone because it counts with the most infractures of the city for bike riding. Most of the semi pedestrian streets and shared spaces of the city are located here, also the narrow cobblestone streets design make traffic slower therefore safer for bikes.
Outside the colonial zone cycling infrastructure is nonexistent therefore you must have extreme precaution.
2. Is there any traffic rule we must know to ride a bike?
Cyclist must always adhere to the established transit laws.
Here we list some of the most important.
Respect pedestrians.
Always ride in the sense of traffic.
Respect traffic signs.
Do not ride on the sidewalks.
3. What safety measures should we take when riding a bike?
The main precautions should be to:
Walk down the hills.
Watch out for other vehicles especially cars, buses and mopeds.
